HIGH POINT, N.C. – (August 06, 2019) – Nine design-driven and lifestyle-focused home furnishings exhibitors will debut in InterHall for Fall 2019 High Point Market, joining more than 70 manufacturers, suppliers and designers in one of High Point’s signature destinations. Fall Market runs Oct. 19 – Oct. 23, 2019.
“INTERHALL is a destination of discovery and inspiration for buyers and designers looking for the latest on-trend product," said JoAnn Miller-Marshall, president of tradeshow leasing for International Market Centers. “INTERHALL includes a curated presentation of new and exciting resources from style setters across the globe.” Located on the first floor of the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC), INTERHALL covers 80,000 square feet of exhibit space. INTERHALL opens on Friday, Oct. 18 for Fall Market.
Furniture, Home Décor Exhibitors Make INTERHALL Debut
Nine new exhibitors showing in InterHall for Fall Market include: Blue Print Collection (luxury furniture); Dôme Deco US (furniture, home accessories, lighting and textiles); Cane-line (functional, comfortable furniture); Dutchbone (affordable furniture and home décor); Heather Ashton Design (classic and contemporary home furnishings); Hubbardton Forge (unique, handcrafted lighting); Square Feathers (decorative pillows, coffee tables, artwork and accessories); Vilmers (Scandinavian and Italian-design upholstered furnishings); and Zuiver (fashionable Dutch-design furniture).
Blue Print Collection is a new venture from Dallas-based boutique, Blue Print. The luxury furniture line represents old world classic style updated for modern day living.
“As a retailer, we know how important High Point has been for our own buying. It’s where we go to see new companies, lines and trends,” said Lisa Wardlaw, manager of Blue Print Collection. “We’re thrilled to be on the other side as an exhibitor this fall and know INTERHALL’s unparalleled traffic will offer Blue Print Collection great exposure.”
Dôme Deco US offers a total interior concept built around furniture, home accessories and interior textiles. The brand is distributed in furniture and lifestyle stores throughout Europe and beyond, specializing in residential and commercial design.
“As one of the biggest players in the commercial and residential design industry in Europe and beyond, we knew that showing in High Point, specifically in INTERHALL, was key to fast-tracking our success as we enter the U.S. Market,” said Sangeeta Gupta, owner and chief executive officer of Dôme Deco US. “No other exhibition could provide us with the exposure and opportunity to showcase our goods and design ethos to establish Dôme Deco as a leading design resource in the U.S."
Heather Ashton Design is presenting the HAD collection at Fall Market. The HAD collection embodies the sleek, enduring spirt that defines the movement. All of the tables and seating are created using a stainless steel, powder coated frame and all is entirely customizable.
“This is my debut presentation at High Point but I have been a buyer at Market for many years,” Owner Heather Ashton said. “In just a few days, I was able to see my stocked vendors and find fresh new products to include in the merchandising plan for the retailer I worked for. High Point Market is the most attended market in the country, and the opportunity to show my collection in INTERHALL is exciting and invaluable.”
Hubbardton Forge is one of the country’s oldest and largest continuously operating commercial forges. Hubbardton Forge artisans create hand-forged lighting of timeless beauty and artistry.
“Having a showcase in INTERHALL allows us to engage designers who may or may not be familiar with Hubbardton Forge,” said Jeanne-Marie Gand, vice president of marketing for Hubbardton Forge. “Designers are critical influencers in the purchasing of our lighting and having the opportunity to engage directly with members of the interior design community, to learn about the lighting challenges they encounter on their projects, is important to us.”
Square Feathers creates pillows, furniture, art, and home décor that combine unmistakable style with obsessive attention to detail. All Square Feathers products are handmade-to-order by Texas-based craftsmen.
“After 11 years in business, I am still waiting to get discovered; but I am ready for my close-up and believe INTERHALL at High Point Market is the perfect venue to make that happen,” Square Feathers CEO Ron McIntyre said. “For Fall Market, we will be introducing a number of design-driven products, including decorative pillows, coffee tables, artwork and accessories.”
Zuiver philosophy has always been: “tomorrow’s design for today’s interior.” The line brings a one-stop interior collection with fresh, fashionable and contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories designed in the Netherlands.
“For Zuiver, High Point Market is the bridge between furnishings in Europe and America,” said Pieter Hogenhout, managing director for Zuiver. “We cannot think of a better place to show our Dutch design-brand to the buyers in the American market.”
Vilmers manufactures Scandinavian and Italian-designed upholstered furniture in both leather and fabrics. The company strives for the highest quality, efficient production and emotional value in hand-crafted upholstered furniture.
“We believe High Point Market will add huge value to Vilmers as it gives us the opportunity to be a part of the largest home furnishings trade show in the United States,” said Ieva Grušait?, head of sales and marketing. “High Point brings together major business players in the industry and creates an excellent environment for networking and provides an opportunity to get ahead of the latest trends.”
A number of these newcomers are using Fall High Point Market as a springboard to debut new product. Cane-line is debuting the PEACOCK Lounge Chair; Dutchbone is showcasing the Cabinet Vino; Heather Ashton Designs is introducing the HAD Collection; Hubbardton Forge is launching the ABACUS and Rain collections; and Zuiver is introducing the Uncle Jesse Lounge Chair.
INTERHALL’s distinguished product lines and designer-friendly resources will be on display in IHFC, Commerce Wing, Hamilton Wing and Design Center on the first floor. In addition to these new exhibitors, notable returning tenants include: Bungalow 5; BRADLEY; Ethnicraft; Legacy Home; Natural Curiosities; Summer Classics; and Worlds Away.
Beyond exhibits, INTERHALL is home to The Mix Bistro, which includes food, beverages, coffee, cappuccino and lattes. Marketgoers can also enjoy specialty martinis at four different locations throughout INTERHALL from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday through Tuesday.
