HIGH POINT, NC – March 3, 2023 – Significant progress in International Market Centers’ (IMC) resource reorganization plan for the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) brings some 31 new, expanded and relocated brands to the iconic building for the April 22-26, 2023 High Point Market. Notable updates to this top destination for design-driven accessories and furniture include expanded brand presentations as well as several debuts in the celebrated INTERHALL temporary collection.
“IMC’s strategic updates have brought new life to IHFC, which serves as the gateway to High Point Market,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC executive vice president, chief growth officer. “With new and expanded product presentations from top to bottom, it is a more engaging and compelling version of the sourcing destination that is key to so many buyers’ High Point Market experience.”
The 31 updates for Spring 2023 are the next phase of IMC’s plan to strategically reorganize IHFC. A new five-story contiguous multi-floor accessories collection (Floors 1-5) begins with the celebrated INTERHALL temporary exhibits on the ground floor of IHFC and flows into a contiguous seven-story furniture destination (Floors 6-12).
Expansions Offer More Furniture
Movement in the IHFC furniture presentation allows brands to take more space to showcase even more product. Some 14 brands relocate and expand for the market with one new brand joining the offerings of 100+ furniture showrooms.
Growth is focused on Floors 6 and 7 in Spring 2023. One new showroom is Xilinmen Furniture (mattresses and bedding products). Eight expansions are BDI (media furniture and office solutions), DeCasa Marble (high-quality made-to-order marble tables), Estro Milano (leather and fabric upholstery handmade in Italy), Hjort Knudsen(Danish furniture), Mavin (custom and heirloom-quality furniture), Romano (contemporary upholstery made in Montreal), Spectra Wood (solid wood furniture) and Stone International (Italian contemporary and transitional furniture featuring leather, stone, marble, granite, onyx and more). Décor and Accent Growth
Strategic updates to IHFC’s 125+ accessories showrooms bring more fabric, accents and design-driven furnishings to the design destination. The new Floor 5 accessories floor features an expanded showroom for Palmetto Living/Orian Rugs (decorative area and scatter rugs). Four more updates, all on Floor 2, are expansions for Decor Fifty Five(fabric including cut yardage, pillows, drapery panels, custom bedding and more), Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting (lighting) and Vertuu Design (accessories and accent pieces) and a new showroom for Vilmers UAB (Scandinavian-inspired handmade furniture with a focus on waste reduction and sustainability).
