The Healthy Homes Certificate is instructionally designed and developed by ASID and powered by the IWBI WELL for residential program. This program equips you with the knowledge to identify, implement, and create spaces that support human health and well-being. This program is comprised of two components, an online foundational learning course and a one-day in-person application workshop hosted at High Point Market, guided by a qualified facilitator. Participants explore why healthy homes matter, uncover common risks in residential environments, and learn practical, science-backed strategies to design safer, more nurturing spaces to make health a foundation in every home. You will also learn how to advocate for healthier housing through clear, effective communication — whether engaging clients, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders, or guiding conversations with family and friends — to help create and sustain healthier homes and communities.
*By registering for this session, you are signing up for the Healthy Homes Certificate full program: Participants must complete the prerequisite online course prior to attending the workshop. Online course access will be emailed to you in mid-September but no later than 2 weeks before the workshop, whichever is sooner based on your registration confirmation date. Both the online course AND the in-person workshop must be completed to earn the full Certificate. Morning and afternoon refreshments and snack breaks will be provided at the session. There will be a 1-hour recess for lunch at the mid-point of the workshop schedule.
